Tire Life
Bought a used 1995 Chevrolet 3500 diesel, dually with 76K. Tires have about 50k miles on them, look good, great tread, just a little "alligatoring" but are 11 years old. Will be pulling a used 2004, 27' Fifth Wheel Laredo.
Can I use them?
If not are there any specs I need to look for when I buy new tires?
Never had a truck before, never had a 5er; new to both.
thx

Hello, welcome to the forums.
I commented on some stuff in the silverado forum but towards this question, no I do not recommend towing with that old of a tire. If you look closely they are probably showing cracks in the treads/side walls from dry rot.
We had towed a 35' Jayco 5th wheel with a 1993 Chevy K3500 CrewCab dually 4x4 6.5TD.
