I have a 2014 Silverado with a 5.7 engine. Temperature guage stays at 160 and engine fans stay on at full speed even though it is 46 degrees outside. Mechanic told me it registered a code for low engine temperature. He then reset it and the gauge and fans started working correctly but it has done it again. I would hate to just be swapping parts. Anyone has had this issue before and what was the fix?
