Default 89 S-10 Emissions & EGR Problems

Have an 89 2.5L FI S-10 that keeps putting out a code 32 (egr valve) on the check engine computer read out.
I have replaced the egr valve and the egr vacume solenoid and am still having the same issue.
Just for backround, this all started when I hade to have the emissions test done and it would not pass because THC was too high.At that time the codes indicated that I had problems with the MAP sensor,Coolant sensor and the Idle air control.I replaced all of these and it still would not pass emissions test. In fact the THC emissions got worse, and now have NOX issues also.
Since then I have been getting the EGR code even after replacing the valve and solenoid. Other than a surge at idle speed seems to run good.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!
Any Ideas would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Default RE: 89 S-10 Emissions & EGR Problems

hello hairy9644. try checking for a manifold leek with a rubber hose, if you have one you might hear a slight hissing sound, try snugging down the manifold if there is a small leek your emmisions would be off
and can cause erradick idle.
