does GM have a lock for the glove box on a 06 Colorado?????

 

I'm not sure...but I'd think so....but gm usually puts em on all or nothing....not optional

 

Friend has a 05 fullsize Z71 & no lock on the glove box. Would like to be able to lock up a wallet or pistol.

My 06 doesn't have a lock on the glove box, wish it did.

 

A locked glove box is, IMHO, not sufficient for a wallet or pistol. You need to have a box installed (bolted to the floor) for this. Not sure where would be a good place to put it. I plan to put one behind the driver's seat, but someone else may have a better idea. Or maybe someone makes a glove box that is substantially more secure than a standard GM glove box.
