We have a 1996 Sonoma that we're replacing the fuel tank on so we were trying to do it from the top by taking the bed off. Does anybody know how to take off the bed or have any suggestions for installing the fuel tank?

i own a sonoma 1998 and i did the same as you did, is easy, just go down the chasis and you need to remove 8 screws, and thats it, then you need to remove the thank filling hose, and the tail lamps, thata all
