ok, so if you had $20k to burn, a 2000 silverado 1500 ECSB daily driver with a 5.3l, 120k miles, the feeling that you never went fast enough, a love for american muscle, and were all paid up what would you do?

negative on the lifer thing, just dont want to get called back in 2 years. but yes my MOS is usable on the outside, im a heavy equip. operator. but women and beer, tempting. a crate motor spunds good too, how crazy would an LS7 be? a new truck would be a good idea too, but that might put me under, the 4x4 would deffinetly get a lift at the very least. hmm.

I'd try to stick something in there that wasn't gonna cause too much need for modification/fabrication. That way you can focus less money on just the motor.

You know you have drempt about modifying the sh*t out of that truck, just do it! Make it loud, tall, pretty and fast. Then buy a beater car or truck and save your 00' for play and cruzing.

I would first make sure everything is up to date, like fluid exchanges and tune up stuff. Then modify it. Remember, a woman might not be there when you come back from overseas but your truck will be!

6 liter, 4l80 tranny, sts turbo kit, 15lbs dynotuned and call it a day
