At 85 degrees and warmed up to 210 with 33s, I am around 7.6. I only have 3.42 gears though. Completely stock with stock tires was 9.5. With 33s, way too free exhaust (true duals) and no reprogram or TBS was 11.2.

Wow, that is my goal! Id like to get mine under the 8 sec mark. Right now with 265/75-16 tires (+/-31"), Magnaflow muffler, and stock rear 3:73 rear gear, I run about 9.5.

But that is calculated from counting in my head, so its not the most accurate figure.
However, I do need to get some 0-60 times before I switch up to 33's.

Hey Smoke, I think you would greatly benifit power-wise from some 3:73 or 4:10 gears.

I plan on better gears, but I can't afford it yet. With 4wd I am looking at $2000 to get both axles done. Also I am thinking about a lift and 35s so that would change my gear choice as well. My goal is to beat the porche cayanne that a guy who works for me drives. But I am a long way from 3.5.
For the best gains, I would do TBS, CAI, and computer reprogram in that order. That will definately get you under 8, with stock tires you will get there without the CAI.

reprogram or predator and that all goes away. But you should know that by now.

I do. But bills, medicine, gas, and $8 an hour equates to no money... like ever, LOL! One day when I get a better paying job those torque management blues will be a thing of the past though.

Sounds like selling or transporting drugs is a better option for you. Or you can do like me and just live in your truck for several months to pay off bills. It sucks, but works and I wasn't making $8 an hour at the time. No play though unless you go to her place.
