This thread was started on the 17th. It is now the 19th. That's how fast my truck is. I'll get under 8 sec when we talk about 0-30.

Can't give you an exact # on my truck, but i've seen others posting low 5sec 0-60 times with their 5.7L Tundra's, along with magazine tests- stock. My Tundra would've givin my stock 05' Stang Gt all it would want from a stoplight. Damn thing scared my wife the first time she drove it, and she's used to drive my Stang GT and GTO, so she knows what fast feels like! Her SRX with the northstar V8 motor is a 6 sec 0-60, which feels like a 4cylinder compared to my truck.

 

Aw man, this is going to be another "unzip your fly and stand back" discussion again with our trucks huh?

Speaking of Mustangs:
I have to admit, I did see a 4.6 Mustang vs. a Rumble Bee Hemi on YouTube and I took great joy and watching the Mustang eat the Ram. I definately would invest in a Ford before a Dodge but there is only the Lightning out there as far as a Ford truck that will destroy a Hemi. Least I think so anyways.

The only newer V8 car that really put the fear of God into me was a Cobra R. My buddy (who has more ***** than brains) got a hold of a brand new one and got to take it for a drive. It was scary fast. Plus he has more guts then talent when driving fast. He BS'ed the salesman to death and finally crunched numbers enough to get the keys. Too much toy for me at this point. I can barely get enought together for a house. But then again I caught myself thinking of ditching the truck, house and the woman (cause she would never let me get one Im sure) and just buying one. Lol. I always wanted to play out the movie "vanishing point".

Hemi's are easy to beat if you have either a new Titan or a 5.7L Tundra, stock for stock that is!
