Default 01 silverado got VERY WET

Hi i am new to the site. I have a 2001 silverado 1500 short/reg.cab, 4.3 auto, mileage 59k. The truck has sat up awhile in another town. Apparently there was an incident where the truck rolled off into a pond and stopped halfway in at approx. a 45degree angle. I could see the water level after removing the door panels at about halfway up the factory speakers (what was left of them). The transmission got water in it and has been double hot-flushed with a filter change. I am working on the tune-up...fuel filter, plugs wires rotor cap etc. The truck runs ok but tends to die after declining from highway speeds to low speeds and idles rough. I wont know anything until i am done tuning up. I am unfamiliar with these trucks and my question is, for those who know the truck, do you have any suggestions or things that I should be prepared to do to get this thing up to snuff? It does act like a tune-up issue to me but i can tell you that the air filter was full of mud, and there is alot of carbon soot around in the throttle body. I am not rich which is why i took on this truck at a bargain....thanks for reading the long-winded post...any suggestions appreciated!!

A can of throttle body cleaner bout 5 bucks should help it a lot. Try that first and see how she does.
