I have discovered a hole in my transfer case. It is located in the front half, near the top, on the passenger side. It appears to be worn through from the inside out. My questions are: Can I get it welded? and Does it have to be removed and torn apart to do so? Hopefully I am not the only one to come across this problem.

The case is magnesium you will destroy the case if you weld on it you have two options plug it with a rubber plug or replace the case
