02 GMC pickup won't stay running when cold.

Won't have time to remove and clean it till this weekend but just doing the small cleaning job the other day it's starting and idling much better!

Have seen this seafoam stuff before at my local Canadian tire, will have a look at this next time i'm there.

Mine does the same thing if i dont plug it in at night does yours have a block heater that is 110v i have an 02 4x4 with the 6.0

Don't see a cord for the block heater.. might be hidden under the hood. Will check for it.

mine was in the dr side front fender the part that goes in to the block in just above the oil filter
