Default 03 Dash lights burning out. PLEASE HELP!

My dash lights are burning out. My hvac panel lights are gone and my lights behind my speedometer are out also. I know the bulbs are soldered to the circut board, which is just stupid. But they have to be fixed.
My problem is that no one seems to know what the bulbs are or have a part number or location to purchase them. I have done more than 15 searches on this and other forums and the web, and came up with nothing.
I just need a part number aqnd a place to buy them.
Anyone.

Are thoseexpensive to replace? My dad is having similar problems with his truck. ALL of the radio button lights have stopped working one at a time and now other random lights on the dash are following. Already one of MY a/c temperature setting lever lights has stopped working and I have less than 40k miles on my truck.

That sounds like a very expensive situation gm has placed it's customers in, just to have dash lights, they have to replace the whole guage cluster.

Well probably the new ones are built much better and you won't have the same problem.

Argon are you saying that even though it's outa warranty I might get the service department to replace it for free or are you saying I'll have to call and hassle some customer support big wig into letting me get it done?

If the a/c is fiber optic can you replace the light box. I'll take a stab in the dark and say the fibers get thier light from the main cluster.

Crap on that, I don't ever adjust the temperature anyway unless I need to defrost the windshield. With it being a heat index of 115, I leave that sucker on "penguin" mode!

I bet if someone purchased the right bulbs, and had soldering skills, the bulbs could be changed.
There are millions of these trucks out there, and people are not going to spend the money to replace the whole cluster. That would be well over $500 I am sure with parts, labor, programingthe new one to the truck.
After all, We are talking about little light bulbs soldered to a circuit board.
What is next, they weld the hood closed?
