Default 04 1500 HD question

I have a 04 silverado 1500 ls model. I like to go hunting and things like that so as much as I want to lower it I cant do it so i dont lose the ground clearance. I saw a 1500 HD today that had the ride height of a 3/4 ton which I liked since the regular 1500 seems to ride kinda low in the front.

Whats involved to swap to the HD suspension, is it just coils and leafs or is the whole assembly different? Thanks in advance for any input you can give on this one.

hmmmm I will have to look at that....I would prolly opt for the suspension lift vs the body lift though.........question, i noticed in your sig you de screened your MAF.........how much did it help? I would like to get one of the aftermarket ones but they aint cheap

If you don't like the way the front of the truck is lower they sale leveling kits. You could find them at four wheel parts or off road unlimited. I think its a spacer that goes above the coil. It is very inexpensive.

I'll have to find out who has them (prob Fab Tech) but they have sweet lifts for 2wd trucks that make them look like a Baja truck. I'd do it if I had a 2wd.
