I have a 2004 chevy silverado extended cab 1500 2WD.
I would like to give it a 2-3 or even a 4-5 inch lift can any one sugest a kit?
i would like to keep the cost down not too expensive. any sugestions?

 

dude u can get a pro-comp body lift for about 400 bucks thats an awesome lift.... also look into fabtech

 

I beefed mine up with a bit of work but the ride is so nice. I plow with mine and turned up the torsion bars a couple of years back but after 5 years up they gave up on me so I replaced them with one weight class up. ($363.00) don't try to go to the biggest the ride will be horrible if you could even get them in.(I tried) then I put the Air Lift system in the back just to balance the truck. ($200.00) Then after the new bars were put in, put on 185/70 r16 from Mich. ($440.00) had it all alined at believe it or not Sears. ($143.00) but after that got a gain of 5 inches and one mean *** look not to mention the larger tires fill the wells of the truck up nice and no rubbing.
