Default 04' transmission problem/help?

hi guys, i have a 04 1500 with the 5.3 with 150,000 miles. recently i noticed that it feels like is it sipping going into second under normal driving. i don't notice it in the tach, just went it finally goes all the way in it grabs hard. what is weird about it is that if i run it up to 3000 rpms it shifts just fine. thats what makes me think it might not be that bad. i do not know to much about transmissions so im wondering what you guys could tell me. it almost feels like it just isn't shift fast enough, to much time between gears. i just had the transmission oil and filter changed and that didn't make a difference. if you guys could tell me anything about this that would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

sounds like a failing shift solinoid.......some of these are easy to change and some are not.....if you can afford the money I would get it scanned and diaged at a tranny shop......my money is on a solinoid or wiring problem
