I'm wanting to save some cash and replace the rotors on my 2WD, v6, 2005-1500 silverado work truck. I've got the rotors removed but none of the parts stores seem to have the right size. Measuring from the outside of the rotor to the edge of the raised part of the rotor it is about 2 1/2" wide. All the ones at the auto parts stores are about 2"? What gives? anyone have suggestions as to why this is the case. We even researched a few years back, and came up with the same rotor at 3 different part stores. The ones they have are about 2" wide and the pads on the truck would hange off the edge if I put those on the truck.
