Help! My 05 Chevy has no speedo, won't shift out of 2nd, and the ABS light is on. I have had the speedo rebuilt but that did not work. Replaced both speed sensors as well. All of these problems happened at the same time. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Marshall, you need to get the ABS codes read out in order to get a handle on what's happening. When my ABS light came on, the first thing I did (after finding out I would probably have to go to the dealer to get them read) was order a tester. Figured it would pay for itself in the long run. Got a "check engine light" tester, also. Less than $250. at Amazon for both and they paid for themselves immediately! Good luck!

your trans is probably in limp in mode because of the code... replaced all vehicle and wheel speed sensors? what about an oss? do these trucks have them?

 

thanks for the reply I have changed the both speed sensors with no change .oss im not sure about that but I will check on that. Thanks , marshall
