Exclamation 05 GMC Sierra Crew Cab Z71 questions...

I have a couple of questions or rather concerns about my pickup truck. First off I currently have 315/70/R17 BFGoodrich All Terrain K/Os on a stock 2005 GMC Sierra Crew Cab Z71 and was wondering if I could up my rim size to 20" with 33x12.5R20 Nitto Mud Grappler?

Also, was wondering, I live in Texas so our emissions has to be legal cats/mufflers, I was curious how could I get the loudest possible exhaust system possibly? I currently have a flow master muffler single in dual out with magnaflow tips and I like the sound but I want it much much louder?

I gutted my cats and left the shells on. I know for a fact Texas does not run an emissions test on the vehicles. They only visually inspect it. I have had mine off for bout 4 years. Louder but with a magnaflow it sounds great. I used to have a flowmaster. Here is a video of it with my flowmaster. The second is with a magnaflow.

Well you gotta cut off the pipe behind the cats. Shove a bar inside and chomp it up. Its very brittle stuff and will crumble out. Wear some safety glasses too cuz it will float in the air. You will be able to tell when its all out. Reconnect the pipe. Go somewhere or to someone who has a mig machine. Muffler shops wont touch the cats or have anything to do with them unless they are puttin new ones. For the O2 sensors, your computer will throw a CATALYST INSUFFICIENT code. Its ok cuz the truck will not run any different with the check engine light on. But what you can do is 2 things A) buy 2 O2 simulators. They connect between the sensors and the pipe B) get a custom tune that will delete the down stream O2 sensors from your computer. HP Tuners can do that. Go check out their website. The simulators will run about 35 a piece.
