Default 06 2500 no fuel?

I have an 06 gmc 2500hd. I am getting no fuel to the fuel rail. Before i replace the fuel pump, i was told its a common problem for the relay to go bad or some type of computor problem. I went to the dealer today and picked up a relay, the told me its located on the inside panel. I see no relay in there that matches the one i bought, nor do i see anything under the hood that matches the number i have. Does anybody know the secret location of this relay. And also these fuel pumps are expensive. Can they be rebuilt to save me a couple bucks.

The fuel pump relay is in the fuse box under the hood and is the same as a couple (or at least one) of the other relays in there so you could just swap them to rule that out. I think it is wishful thinking though. I might have found 2 bad relays in my 15 plus years of repairing cars. What occured just before it went out? I am sure you have already listened to see if the pump is priming when you turn the key on right? From my experience they are not able to be rebuilt and I wouldn't cheap out on this one. It is not fun to drop that tank or remove that bed so buy a good quality Delphi pump. They have a newer version out that is "supposed" to be a better unit. The last one I bought I found a dealer on eBay that was in Florida that charged $185 and that was the best I have seen.
