"Better" is a relative term. I drive my friends Tundra every blue moon and I just don't care for it ...not saying that the Tundra suqs ...I just prefer my Sierra.

My friend has driven my Sierra and really likes driving it, but still prefers his Tundra.

Different strokes for different folks.

-Gary

PS ...I think we can all agree that ricers suq though ...not because their cars sound like a blow drier ...but because 99.9% of them don't know how to drive.

ROFL!!! John your funny.

As for the ricer comment, I drove 3 of em and I'd say your comment is totally out of line. And although your truck was probably built at one of the Toyota plants in Texas it still has a Jap motor and wields a Jap badge on the front, which would make your truck a ricer. Therefore by your own evaluation you can't drive.

I don't give a rats-**** if you think that my comment is out of line. You are a ricer who drives a truck.

Think i care what you like? Never wanted to be your friend anyway! Just here to join the my truck is better than your's club, which just happens to be dominated by bowties. Geeze, didn't think the truth hurt so bad? No wonder you don't get other truck owners on here, you try to hurt their feelings, lol! But don't worry, you won't get under my skin.

Does anyone actually happen to know what their 1/4 mile time is? How bought 1/8 mile time? My Sierra ran a 10.61 at Holt with nothing done except a drop in K&N air filter. For a comparison most guys running stock full size trucks are running anywhere from high 10's to low 12's...(yes I actually saw a brand new V8 F-150 running consistent 12's).

On a side note, I think it's funny that the Conquest TSI(aka Mitsubishi Starion ESi) is a ricer and it would rape everything I could find to race until the clutch and tranny started having problems.(that's what happens when you by a Mitsubishi sports car with 170,000 miles on it) And for another track time comparison, I ran nearly a flat 10.00 at Holt with it with the clutch slipping, the sincros crunching, and the engine popping cuase the timing was off due to a faulty distributor. NOT ALL RICERS SUCK!

i think south bay was referring more towards the honda civics with body kits and big rims and 5 foot tall spoilers with nothing but a coffee can muffler as far as performance... thats the kind of ricer that pisses me off

Yeah, but I don't really hate em. I can't argue anyway. My Lancer OZ Rally got 30mpg, sounded awesome(everybody who talked to me liked my exhaust), and it looked good without screaming "I am 18 and can't let go of anime!". A lot of girls liked it too! I haven't gotten a single head turn with my truck from people unless I was roaring past them with my side pipe exhaust!

Anyway, 1/4mile and 1/8 mile times!

Enough drama, Bowtie...

Any-hoo, before this thread gets too jacked, Back to the 1/4 mile times...

I ran a best of 14.96 before my tune and fans. It was about 75 with light humidity.

I installed my tune and fans and drove it around to let it learn for a while... I went back to the same track when it was 90 and 100% humidity, and ran along side6.0 GTO... He ran a 14.40 and I ran a 14.92... He later told me he usually runs 13.30's...

So.... I'm going back to the track when it cools down a bit...
