100 MPH
MY 02 ONLY GETS TO 100MPH! Is there a governor on it?can it be bypassed without messing up anything

RE: 100 MPH
Get a programmer and that will bypass the gov and the rev limiter if you want. BTW you should be carfull at that speed, as ARGON would say, the brakes are only rated for the governed speed. Good luck.

:D

RE: 100 MPH
But then again in the mid to late 60s and early 70s. A LOT of cars would go a hell of alot faster than their brakes could handle. 0-60 in three seconds, 60-0 in three minutes, lol.

RE: 100 MPH
U might also want to check the speed rating on ur tires as well.

RE: 100 MPH
It will move that governor back pretty far so check the tires for sure.

RE: 100 MPH
Mine tops out at 125mph with about a 1/4 pedal left and even at that speed it runs smooth with M/T 33's on it

RE: 100 MPH
In my truck 125 feels more like 90 on Goodyear tires.

Also betweem 130-140 don't expect your door seals to do much good at all, almost sounds like the windows are down!
