The air conditioner on my 1990 half ton pickup works properly just as it did off the showroom floor............poorly. It did not come with max (recirculated) option on the control panel. It works good as long as its not really hot outside, but once it gets over 90 some degrees I find myself wondering if it would be cooler to just roll the windows down. Dont know what came over chevy designers to not put this option on just this year of pickup.
My question is, is there some way to rig my system up to be on recirculated status all the time? Is there one bad mother of a fan I can put in that will push alot more air? This has been driving me crazy for years and any advice would really be appreciated.
