Hey guys got a 1990 k1500 its got a 350 and a th700 tranny its run ok in park and neutral but when i put it in drive and try to accelerate it stalls out. if i can get it going without it stalling its ok goin down the road but if you come to a stop it will stall out. somebody mentioned the tcc selenoid but i dont know i would really appreciate any help.Thanks, Chris

 

yeah sounds like your torque converter is locked... not sure if the 700r4 has a solenoid or not but whatever mechanism locks the clutch is probably bad if i had to guess...
