Default 1992 Chevy Silverado 1500

Alright guys, I stopped and looked at a 92 silvy in EXCELLENT condition today and i love it already. Its 2 tone black, like black with a silver stripe running down the side. Anyways, it is loaded to the brim with every option except leather. No rust, bedliner, air, tilt wheel, Power everything except mirrors. 2wd with a 350.

The only problem is that yesterday some bastards came and stole the catalytic converter right off the truck. Almost didnt notice it until i kicked the dual exhaust and it wobbled. Oh well I'd probably just stick a straight pipe on it and call it good.

So, what do you think it is worth? I'll post his asking price after I get a few replies. Oh yea, It has 140,000 miles and is a NO RUST michigan truck

Probably going to buy this truck. Met the owner and WOW. sounds beautiful. runs no problem. and everything under the hood is STOCK. Even the clamps on the radiator hoses look to be original. The interior even almost smells new. He wanted $3200 OBO for it before the Catalytic convertor was stolen so I am thinking I can possibly get him down to $2900.

Do yourself one favor. After you fix the exhaust go to TBIchips.com and get a $30 PROM for your truck. On a 350 you'll get much more power and slightly better highway MPG.

I'll look into that thanks. Oh man this truck cleans up sharp!!!! Gave it a real good bath the other night and its looking like a brand new truck. I was unable to find one door ding on the entire truck. There are just a few EXTREMELY minor things that need attention and then it'll be top notch

Need latch for sliding rear window
Exhaust pipe...duh
CD/mp3 adapter
wheels need a good scrubbing and new paint
Headliner is doing a bit of sagging...normal but im thinking a rebel flag would look alot better
Fuse box cover is broke...duct tape
stone chip in windshield will need attention before winter

As I said EXTREMELY minor, but it gives me something to work at

It is really difficult to portray in pictures how clean something is, but lets just say it is REALLY clean
