Trouble is this. When I am driving normal I do not have 1st and 4th. Thinking that it is the A shift solenoid. But here is what is tripping me up. When I am driving normal it never shifts into 4th. I know this as I can shift the shifter between OD and D and no difference. IF I let off the gas it feels like it goes ahead and shifts into 4th. I varified this by then shifting shifter into D from OD and it felt like and sounded like it did indeed go into 3rd. What gives? any ideas?

 

did you ever fix this? it sounds like a vacuum problem to me.
