I'm replacing the exhaust system on my 1995 Silverado from the flange to the tailpipe. I have purchased a Dynomax pre-fitted exhaust system, and have determined that it will fit. I have also purchased new hangers. However, I cannot find an exhaust flange gasket for this model, although there are sleeve-type gaskets available for the 2000 - 2009 models. Question: Will I need a gasket for my model, or is it designed for metal-metal seal? Will the gasket for the 2000-2009 model (same engine, 5.7L) fit?

 

You'll probably need an exhaust doughnut.
