The washer on my 95 sierra, 5.7 auto 2wd has been intermittently screwing up and not shooting fluid, and when that would happen, the wipers would sometimes stop at random places on the glass and not back down to their normal spot.
I put a new fluid pump in, and it didnt solve the problem. I then changed the signal arm switch assembly ($$ and a pain in the a**), and thought I had the problem licked, but alas, no fluid today, but the wipers did stop at the proper spot. edit: they are still not stopping at the proper spot sometimes
Am I missing something here?? Is there something between the signal arm switch and the pump on the resevoir that may be shot that I dont know about?

edit and update: no power to the washer pump.
