Default 1997 Chevy 3500 Abs light and AC problems

I have a 1997 one ton Chevy with a 454 and I'm having a problem with it ever time you kick the AC on the ABS light comes on and the AC fan will not blow but you can here the compressor kicking in and out. The brakes has never gave me a problem nor has the AC has anybody else ever had this problem? If so I could really use the help trying to figure out whats going on.

If you follow the ABS lines from the hub assembly behind the wheel and up into the engine bay. You can check all your connections to make sure they are good so there is no corrosion or anything. As far as the whole AC thing goes, I would say it's just some bad connections or something

If there is any corrosion on the hub assembly or even the connection is not proper then it can give problem. The indicator will indicate about improper connections..

I checked ever wire and rechecked it again and everything is clean, still I just want to know why in the world when the ABS light comes on it keeps the blower from blowing?

You can set and play with the ignition switch and the abs light will go off and the blower will do its job. But then when you turn the ac off and back on the abs light comes and and the blower will not work.

Have you check the ABS light sensor? Try unplugging them at all the hubs and really clean all the connections in the plug ends.
