1999 Silverado stereo removal/install

I have a (late model) 1999 Chevy Silverado. I would like to install an FM Modulator for my iPod. I think to do this I need to remove the stereo so I can plug the modulator in where the antenna plugs in the back. How do I remove the stereo?

A $20 haynes manual will serve you very well. Not only for radio removal, they're a good tool to have handy.
