I said 2011 and he said this thing only goes up to something like 2006 if I remember correctly. The boss man there said just use that they are all the same. Is this true? I read somewhere that 2007 through current year is all the same but 2006 is an entirely different suspension. Are there certain specs for my 2011 that I can give him to plug into his alignment machine? I swear this truck now sounds as if the tires are sure making more noise than ever before, not sure if its in my head.
You are correct. The 2007.5 & newer trucks have an upgraded suspension. The '07 & down trucks have a torsion bar system with torsion keys. Take it to the Chevy stealership if you need to.

2006 and 2011 are different in many ways. I would do like RestRidge suggested.
Take it to the dealership. If the dealership finds a significant difference in the alignment? I would ask them if you could get a print out of the b4 and after results.
Take it to the tire place and maybe get your money back.

Does anyone have the actual specs that can be used to align my truck properly? Its a 2011 Chev Silverado 1500 Z71 Extended cab 4x4.

I appreciate all of the help.

hi, i am looking to level my 07 silverado classic, and iv been hearing that some leveling kits are better. theres torsion key, the spring spacer ( that looks like a puck), but iv heard that some may need aftermarket shocks even tho the company says its not required.... i just want to level my truck the safest and easiest way possible. any suggestions?
