Default 2000 2500 4WD Issues

Hi guys. Back on this forum after 5 years. Lost my old '02 1500 and now have a new mud toy. 2000 2500 6.0 4WD LS. Got it for dirt cheap with 235k. It runs fine, but it leaks anti-freeze and the T/C drive shaft was not installed. Went to put it in today and found that I needed to replace the dust boot and u-joints while its out. It appears as if the t/c has a master spline cutout, but the shaft has no master spline... Can this be explained? I need to order the following parts, but I was wondering if anyone carrried them locally due to the fact that I am not sure exactly what transfer case I have. The parts are for "GM 3R series transfer cases", does that sound right? The rubber boot, 2 spicer u-joints and strap and bolt set runs about $60 on dennysdriveshaft.com. If I can find it locally for a few bucks more I will get them. I like seeing the parts before getting them for comparison.

I would suggest going to your local dealership and give them you VIN # to do a search on you truck's build history. This will positively tell you what TC you have. Then they can tell you the proper parts your looking for and give you an idea of what they are worth.
