If you are rebuilding the motor than I would HIGHLY recommend buying a manual. Any auto parts store will have a Haynes or Chilton manual that will have all the information you will need. It would take too long to list all the specs here and especially to try and explain the tightening sequence. Good luck with it!

Well, I heard that the chiltons book doesnt have the specs in it for the 6.0 not sure bout haynes though. I was gonna buy a book eventually since this is own truck, but we rebuild a ford ranger last month and found all the specs on here, so I guess I was hoping to get lucky and get another freebie. Anyway, thanks for your time! just in case someone wants to post the specs and sequence anyway I'll still take em.

I have a Chilton's manual and here is what it says for the heads...

Step 1
All 11mm bolts 22 ft lbs
Step 2
All 11mm bolts Tighten an additional 90 degrees
Step 3
11mm bolts 1-8 Tighten an additional 90 degrees
11mm bolts 9&10 Tighten an additional 50 degrees
Step 4
All 8mm 11 - 15 22 ft lbs

Here is a head diagram...

Sorry for not taking the time to do this before!

You might want to check to see if you need new bolts. I think those are 1 time use bolts. But I could be mistaken.
