Hey guys,
When I go to start my pickup, it rarely starts the first try. You can crank it till it's dead and it wont start, but if you stop for a second and try again, itll take right off. Once in awhile, itll start the first try. Makes no difference if it's hot or cold or been sitting or not. To me it seems like a spark issue, because it wont even kick or anything. It either starts right up, or you have to stop and it'll go the 2nd time. I've had 2 engines in this pickup, and both did this. The new engine has about 10k miles on it. What are you guys thinking?

Have you tested the fuel pump pressure? Perhaps the current fuel pump looses prime when you stop it and then later restart it.
