That is a trick or loaded question...lol Basically it all depends on how you drive it, where you drive it, what do you do with the truck... so in other words teh MPG vary with the driver and how it is driven.

Newby to the forum but not to Chevy/GMC trucks- just bought my 5th GM HD truck. My 4th was an 8.1L crewcab.
We live in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, so the steep grades do take their mpg toll. But unloaded and on reasonably flatter terrain, keeping it at about 65 on the interstate I have seen just over 14. But if your foot is really heavy on start-ups and you can't keep it under 75-80, single digit mpg's could be your reward.
