Question from a Newbie. I was looking over Chevy trucks at a local Dealer yesterday. I noticed that they had about 15 brand new 2003 1500 Hd crewcabs with Quadrasteer all with the 6.0L. I thought this was strange as they had so many of them and 2003's. I have not seen this old of a new model on a lot before. Most of them were starting in the 28,000 price range. Any advise on buying one of these? Why are these still available almost 4 model years later?

 

as far as being a good truck, i can say from experience the quadrasteer is a good solid truck. My brother bought one new in 03. Its not an HD, its a 4x4. He uses the quadsteering regularly. It makes backing a trailer effortless. So far there has been no problem with the quadsteering. i would say that the reason they are still left is that people may be worried about the integrity of the quadsteering. i would say that you would be ok with the truck. hope this helps.
