I have a 2003 2500HD w/ a 6.0 gasser. The A/C will freeze you to death at speed, but blows barely cool at idle. I realize that it will not blow as cold at idle, but it is on the verge of being warm. The dealership replaced the compressor, then added 1/2 lb of freon, then replaced the compressor again. Still blows warm. Has anyone else had this problem or know someone that has?

don't quote me on it, my father has an 05 2500 hd, i read somewhere that its a safety precaution to prevent overheating, while the truck is not moving the compressor cuts off/back to take heat off of the engine that the moving air would help with otherwise....
