Thinking about buying a used 03 with 25K miles. Truck seems pretty clean, but Ive read about people having "clunking" noises from the tranny, "sponge feeling" problems from the brakes, and noise from steering? Is this common? I did a car fax and It came out clean. Any info would be appreciated.

I think that there is something wrong with every vehicle out there.
These are chances that you have to take when buying a used vehicle.
If it is from a dealership or a personal vehicle? You can always go out and buy a extended warranty on anything. Thats what I do.
