Default 2005 Cheyenne master cylinder stroke

I put a 2005 Chevy NV4500 in a 92 Chevy and am hoping to use a 92 master cylinder with the 2005 clutch release bearing, aka slave cylinder. I figure that since the masters on both years were the same bore (18 mm), all I need to do is make sure the 92 master has the same stroke as the 05. Right now I don’t know the stroke on either one, as I’ve never seen either one, so am hoping somebody can tell me.
I’ve been advised to get a complete assembly. But the internal slave is already in the truck and the studs for the master cylinder mounting are already in place, as they came with the factory 92 clutch pedal Mount I got from the wrecker. Which shares the same 3 holes in the 92 firewall as the master. Anybody who is familiar with the difference between internal slave type masters and external slave type masters knows what I mean when I say I’m better off sticking with the 92 master. So if anyone can tell me the stroke, the distance that the 92 or the 05 master cylinder pushrod travels, I’d most appreciate knowing it. Thanks much
