What do you think the problem is? I've had it to the dealer (did not return DTC codes), but they cannot find a problem. Problem details below:

I have a 2005 GMC Sierra Z71 (5.3 motor, 14,807 miles). When I slow to a stop at a stop sign, red light, or in traffic, or while slowing down to make a left or right turn the RPM's will drop to 200 - 300 and struggle to stay running, and most of the time it will just stall out and shut off, unless I can give it gas to stay stared. Now, this doesn't happen all the time. It is intermittent and may happen once or twice a day, or may happen once every week or couple of weeks. There may be a week or two it doesn't happen. The dealer had it for a day and couldn't find anything wrong. Does anyone have any thoughts as to what the problem might be? The only mods I have are a K&N cold air intake (no I don't use the cleaning oil, I know that screws up the MAF), and a cat back dual exhaust with flowmaster muffler.

 

couple of suggestions, ck the gas cap, ck all the clamps anf fittings for KN make sure the sensor was not installed upside down

 

I also have a 2005 GMC Sierra Z71 crew cab. It has about 43,000 miles on it. It stalls sometime at a stop or when you are stopped and crank the wheel hard it brings down the rpm's and kills it. No codes are set. The stalling at a stop is intermittent. All the symtoms you describe are the same. Mine is all factory. If I find any news I will repost. Just wanted to say you are not alone.
