I just bought a 2005 chevy silverado Z71 5.3 it does not have any steering wheel controls and the only thing the driver information center does it says driver 1 odometer then all it has is a personal trip odometer that stays on 0.0 miles won't do anything then business odometer that stays on 12.0 miles never changes is there anyone out there that can please tell me is there any way to a driver information switch to my truck I have searched everywhere and have not found anything on youtube this guy was showing the wires going to the instrument cluster and how connecting a wire to one of 4 different wires and then grounding it would make the display read out information I have found some aftermarket switches but have no idea if and how to hook one up I am not buying a steering wheel I need some kind of a reasonable priced fix if it doesn't exist I will give up please someone respond Thank You
