2005 silverado z71 help.
I tried what Argon said about stroking the shaft, and besides needing a cigarette afterwards, it worked. I did notice that the bolt on the top of the shaft could have been tighter too when I first removed it. ( This truck had alot of loose bolts on it for some reason. Rear diff cover, o2 sensors, stock intake assemby, and now intermediate shaft ). Anywho, unless Im just used to it, it seems like its gotten better.
It usually works..the stroking..
the grease is still there..it does not need more grease,it just needs re-distributed...the heat from the exh manifold lets the grease sag...
