I have a 2006 Silverado Z71 4x4 extended cab. I'm replacing all the ball joints and I have removed both passenger and driver side upper ball joints with the press and cannot get either lower ball joint to move at all. It looks like it should be pressed downward but i cant get it to move either way. Anyone have any good ideas on what to do?

Update: I got it after I beat the hell out of it with a sledge hammer a bunch of times. I flattened the top of the joint i hit it so much. Thanks rxsteven for the comment. now i have to tackle getting them back in which shouldn't be a problem I hope.
