I am in Canada and just purchased a 2007 Sierra 2500HD out of the states. The hitch reciever on the truck is over 2 1/2 in. squared, whereas all of my other trucks are 2in squared.
I contacted our local dealer and they have yet to come up with a solution.
Has anyone run into this problem, and do you have any suggestions?

we needed one for work and got it from our local ford dealer one came with our dullie but they lost it

 

not really! well, the problem is, your hitch receiver is not fit to your truck. The solution for that. Get a new one or buy a new hitch receiver.

 

Thanks for the try but our dealer has finally found the part number from GM. I guess all 2500HDs are coming with larger recievers, and adapter should come with them, but I guess they lost it. Check this article out. http://www.pickuptrucks.com/html/2007/shootout/hdshootout6.html
