I have a 2008 silverado vortec max 6.0ltr. every morning i start my truck, it pings really bad like theres no oil. I know the oil is settled to the bottom of the pan, but is there is anything i can do? it cant be good.

My guess is the oil has drained out of one or more of the lifters. Check with your local auto parts store and ask for Liqui Moly or Wynn's Hydralic Valve lifter additive or another brand.

 

Powertrain warranty 5 yrs 100k. If your under both bring it to the dealer??
