Default 2009 silverado issues

I have a 2009 1500 2wd crew cab 5.3 6l80e and not happy. I purchased this truck a year ago and its made 4 trips so far to two different dealers and still having issues.

The truck has a whine in the rear end between 40-45 miles an hour. The first dealer couldnt reproduce it. The second pulled it in and replaced all the bearings in the rear end. The noise is still there and now at 50-55mph as well.

The next issue is at approx. 55-60mph in 6th gear, if you lightly accelerate there is a loud vibrating noise coming from the passenger side under dash area. Niether dealer can correct this as both have worked on the issue.... still does it

The air that comes through the vents whether it be heat/ac/ or fresh air, has a whistle to it that comes and goes. Only one dealer looked at this problem, couldnt reproduce it. Im gonna give them credit here as it stopped doing it to me about half way there, but has returned.

The last issue, is several in one. The trans shifts funny all the time and goes through the gears too fast in my opinion. Ex. Last night driving 45mph i pulled the shifter down into "m" to see that its in 5th gear. The 20mpg avertised, welll 67mph with cruise on for 300 miles on paper i got 18.2.

This weekend, i pulled a small trailer with some living room furniture on it weighing no more than 4000 pounds. The total trip one way was 25 miles. Upon arriving the wife and I both noticed a burnt trans fluid smell coming from under the truck very strongly.

Any ideas? Ive called GM customer service who just keep getting me to take it back to the dealer in hopes i suppose they will finally fix the issues. That would be fine, but how do i trust this vehicle now? Would you? Ive owned a dozen GM vehicles and have had good service out of all of them. This is my first to give me fits and GM hasnt really offered me much comfort other than my remaining warranty. I understand that its a piece of machinery and things happen, but what tha heck.

Hi, thank you for the reply... Id be happy to email you, what is your email address? May i ask you something? If there something you are wanting to help me with? I dont mean to sound disrespectful at all here, but im tired of the run around with General Motors. All ive been offered is, " just bring it in again and we will solve the problem only to hear that a "whining" differential is normal for this type of vehicle." General Motors has been my favorite company for many years but this particular vehicle isnt top notch quality from what I am experiencing, and all i get for comfort is we will fix it.

I didnt purchase this vehicle with the security of a 100k mileage warranty as my primary reason. I purchased this vehicle because of that and the track record that your vehicles outlast the warranty for many years after. Im no fool to expect things not to break, I understand that machines do that. With 2 dealers and 4 plus shop visits in 24k miles, my confidence is your product left wanting.

Thank you for your time
