I heard this is what the 2012 silverado will look like and i hope they are wrong on this one.

They combined the fenders, bumper cover, hood & grille in to one peice. God forbid you get into a front end collision. If all you needed was to replace the bumper cover now you have to replace the front end damn near. I dont even want to know what it would have cost to replace that.

and it looks like an oversized KIA with a bed

 

@ wiked i really hope that aint what its gonna look like
and i can imagine the price is gonna be steep fro the front end if ever it needs replaced
and yes it does look like gm is loosing its touch
also it really does look like a kia with a truck bed
you know what i miss the way cars and trucks body styles were in the 60-90s they looked good know its all rounded and bubble looking

 

I don't like it either.... Nothing though about it at all.
Didn't I hear something in the new that GMC is retooling the assembly lines right now??
I hope it's not for this truck.

 

personally i think the 03-06 silverado was the meanest toughest best looking truck GM made from the headlights to taillights.

I really hope this truck doesn't pass the final stage and it just stays a concept

That first one is UGLY! That hood would have to tilt forward right? The 2nd one looks tough, but I would like to see a side shot. Not that I will be able to afford one for MANY years! Lets see, I drive a 1998 and it's 2011 so I can buy one of these in 2025 - Dammit man!!!!
