Lost my last truck (FordF150) to frame rust and an engine that couldn't be rebuilt, when the body still looked perfect. Just wasn't worth putting money into. Now I 'traded up' to a 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 with 5.3. Heard great things about engine and trans, body looks great, but where do I start looking for rust, I don't want to build up a truck just to lose it to rust. (Yes I'm in the Midwest.) Adding a bed cover, and truck has had a factory liner with the 4 caps installed in the corners.
