2013 Silverado 1500
My 2013 Silverado 1500 5.3L is having issues when I use the A/C. When I turn the A/C on and the fans kick on it pulls power from my batter like my alternator can’t keep up. The truck has shut off on me when I have came to a stop a couple of time. If I’m driving while the A/C is on I have no issues but if I have to come to a stop at a light it’s pulls power and shuts off my truck. If I don’t use the A/C there doesn’t seem to be an issue and the the battery power holds steady with no movement in the gauge. I have notice that the outside temperature has an affect on it too. When it really hot out the fans kick on and seem to be working harder than what’s considered normal. Any ideas on what could be going on? And there is no check engine light.
