Default 4/6 dropped silverado

I just recently removed my 3inch drop coils in the front and reinstalled the factory coils and a 4inch drop controls arms but it looks the same. After a few weeks of riding will it achieve the full 4inch drop? Or should I cut the springs to drop another inch?

By control arms do you mean the spindles?

Did you actually measure the height at the center of your fender to the ground beforehand. An inch difference might be a little hard to notice. Or it could be that the lowering coils settled more than the factory ones? My beltech coils on my truck didn't really settle at all.

I think i figured it out, most drop kits for fullsize trucks are made for the weight of a v8 engine. Mine being a 6 it isn't heavy enough to drop fully.

The weight isn't gonna matter with the control arms. It would be the other way around. You wouldn't get the same drop with the coils if they were designed for the v8.

I don't think the factory spring will settle, you should be able to get a pair of 1" drop springs pretty cheap.
