When I engage in 4 wheel drive high by turning dialI thought I would see a light or some sort of message on my cluster saying I was in 4 wheel drive. I do not see anything. Is this normal? The dial is the only thing that lights up.

 

Did you check the manual??

Sorry I'm not too knowledgable on the new trucks

 

when in doubt ask the dealer, if i really wanted to know if it was put it in 4x4 and on some slick stuff. that's just me though.

 

I have an 07 Sierra, when you turn the dial the light glows above the 4h or 4l. That is all it does.
